Oink Oink, Moo Moo

A pastoral dreamscape unfolded on an actual working farm, where the gentle sounds of horses and country breezes created the most authentic barnyard baby shower imaginable. Set against rolling green fields this celebration embraced the pure charm of farm life with a playful "Oink Oink, Moo Moo" theme that delighted guests from the moment they arrived down the gravel drive.
The outdoor setting took full advantage of its natural surroundings. The covered barn provided shade while still offering unobstructed views of the pastoral landscape, with the distant field of black and white cows serving as the world's most perfect living backdrop. Rustic wooden farm tables were dressed simply in crisp white linens , allowing the scenery to remain the star while with blue napkins and die cut cow name cards added farmhouse sweetness.
Centerpieces celebrated the barnyard inhabitants with adorable arrangements of sunflowers, daisies, and Queen Anne's lace in vintage milk jugs and watering cans,
As the afternoon sun cast golden light across the fields and a gentle breeze carried the sweet scent of grass and wildflowers, guests lingered over slices of cake and conversation, reluctant to leave this peaceful slice of country heaven. It was a baby shower that proved sometimes the most magical celebrations happen when you let nature provide the beauty and simply add love, laughter, and a touch of barnyard whimsy.

Totally Tubular Corporate Event

Back to the 80's

A corporate celebration exploded with pure 1980s energy, transforming a professional gathering into a neon-soaked time machine where power suits met parachute pants and business networking collided with break-dancing brilliance. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this wasn't your typical corporate affair—this was a full-throttle throwback to the decade of excess, innovation, and unforgettable pop culture.
The venue pulsed with iconic '80s aesthetics. Neon lights in electric pink, lime green, and cyan blue outlined the space, while geometric patterns and bold color blocking covered every surface. A custom Pac-Man inspired dance floor became the evening's centerpiece. Arcade game stations lined the perimeter—classics like Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, and of course, Pac-Man—inviting friendly competition throughout the night.
Tables embraced the era's signature style with neon spandex tablecloths, centerpieces featuring Rubik's cubes stacked alongside LED cassette tape towers and place settings that included personalized fanny packs for each guest stuffed with '80s candy favorites like Pop Rocks, Ring Pops, and Fun Dip. Neon sunglasses, slap bracelets, and headbands were scattered across tables as party favors that guests immediately donned, fully committing to the theme.
Entertainment delivered authenticity and high energy. Professional break-dancers in classic b-boy attire hit the floor with gravity-defying moves—windmills, headspins, and freezes that had the crowd forming circles and cheering. Their performance was interactive, pulling brave attendees into impromptu dance battles and teaching basic moves.
The Michael Jackson impersonator was flawless, capturing every signature move, vocal inflection, and iconic outfit change. He moonwalked across the stage, led the crowd through the "Thriller" dance, and had everyone singing along to "Billie Jean" and "Beat It." The performance blurred the line between tribute and time travel, with guests genuinely swept up in the magic.
The bar served cocktails with cheeky '80s names—the "Wall Street," "Valley Girl Cosmo," and "Purple Rain"—presented in glasses rimmed with colorful sugar that matched the neon theme. A snack station offered nostalgic bites like pizza bagels, pigs in a blanket, cheese balls, and an epic nacho bar, while a dessert display featured a classic 80's candy.
This wasn't just a themed party—it was strategic team building disguised as pure fun, where hierarchies dissolved on the dance floor, creativity was celebrated, and everyone remembered why the '80s were totally awesome. By the end of the night, it was clear: when corporate culture embraces bold creativity and genuine entertainment, magic happens.

Aged to Perfection

Cheers to 50

A sophisticated celebration of five decades unfolded in an atmosphere of timeless masculine elegance, where rich jewel tones and metallic accents created a space worthy of the milestone being honored. The venue transformed into a refined gentleman's lounge aesthetic, striking the perfect balance between celebratory and distinguished.
Guests entered through a dramatic arrival moment—a backdrop of black velvet draping accented with gold baubles and balloons with geometric patterns and strategic uplighting that cast a warm, red glow across the space. The ceiling filled with 3000 balloons with streamers that led the way to a custom bar. The front panels wrapped in black with gold trim, bottles backlit to create visual interest, and a signature cocktail menu printed on heavy red cardstock with gold foil lettering featuring drinks named after significant moments in the guest of honor's life.
The dining tables embodied understated luxury with black velvet linens forming the foundation, topped with centerpieces that made bold statements with dark red roses, black calla lilies, and burgundy dahlias in metallic leaves and gold foiled driftwood, surrounded by scattered gold votives that flickered warmth across each table. Black metallic charger plates anchored each place setting, complemented by black napkins and red personalized menu cards detailing the evening's culinary journey.
Every detail whispered rather than shouted, creating an atmosphere where grown men could embrace sentimentality without sacrificing sophistication, where laughter flowed as freely as top-shelf bourbon, and where turning fifty felt less like a marker of age and more like a badge of honor earned through decades of experiences, relationships, and wisdom gained.

Stax Wedding, Memphis TN

Love and Happiness

A love story that began in Silicon Valley found its soul in Memphis, where California natives Rachel and Igor hired Southern Event Planners to transform the legendary STAX Museum of American Soul Music into an unforgettable celebration that merged retro charm with Southern authenticity. The couple, both passionate music lovers, visited Memphis and immediately knew their wedding needed to capture the city's unmistakable rhythm and spirit.
The ceremony unfolded inside the historic STAX recording studio itself, where the couple exchanged vows to the rich, authentic sounds of a Hammond B-3 organ playing Al Green's "Love and Happiness." Their vision—The Partridge Family meets Mad Men, officiated by Reverend Al Green—set the tone for an evening that honored music history while celebrating their unique love story.
One hundred twenty guests were welcomed with invitations designed to resemble vintage record album covers, hinting at the distinctively retro experience ahead. The evening pulsed with Motown classics and soul pioneers like Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and Ray Charles, from local musicians.
The design aesthetic embraced authentic '60s and '70s nostalgia through carefully curated vintage finds from estate sales and antique stores. Record players, View Masters, lunch boxes, Tang pitchers, and macrame pieces adorned tables, while the ceremony chuppah featured custom fabric printed with graphics from their invitation design. Every detail felt genuinely period rather than costume.
The menu honored Southern traditions with locally sourced ingredients and plenty of vegetarian options alongside "a tiny bit of BBQ" as Rachel requested. The menu featured regional favorites including cayenne chicken and waffles with buttermilk syrup, meatloaf sliders with grits, deviled eggs, grilled sweet potato salad, corn pudding, and fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese.
The couple rejected traditional wedding cake formality in favor of an old-fashioned Southern bake sale station featuring banana pudding, sock-it-to-me cake, lemon pound cake, and bread pudding. The wedding cake itself was a small tiered creation with actual pie layers—not filling, but genuine pie. An adult milkshake bar served Jack and Coke floats and pumpkin mudslides, adding playful indulgence to the nostalgic spread.
The evening's finale was pure Memphis magic—the newlyweds and their guests boarded "Miss Clawdy," a fully restored 1959 General Motors tour bus, for a ride to an after-party on legendary Beale Street. It was the perfect ending to a celebration that honored music history, Southern hospitality, and two people who found their rhythm in a city that knows soul better than anywhere else.
