Become a Wedding Planner
Thanks for visiting Southern Event Planners website! We are glad that you are interested in the field of weddings.
We will be hosting an educational seminar series. We've held two seminars already, and we plan on hosting more in the future. We'll keep you updated on these wonderful educational opportunities!
At this time, we are not hiring. However, if you would like to send in your resume for us to have on file, you can do so by emailing us at weddings@southerneventplanners.com or faxing us at (866) 373-8756.
We also do not answer any questions about the business through phone or email inquiry. Instead, we invite you to schedule an appointment with us to discuss the industry. There are many people that are simply interested and not willing to make a serious commitment to the industry. Because our time is very valuable and our knowledge is highly regarded, we will be charging for this meeting session, $50 per hour, just as we would a client. In fact, by consulting with us regarding your potential venture, you are considered our client as well.
If you are unable to make that commitment and are simply researching, then we advise you to check out professional wedding associations. They offer professional development courses. After you have completed that training, then you may contact us regarding an apprenticeship. We are in the process of developing a program specially for our apprentices. That program information will be found on this page.
