Anneliese and Arie - The Biltmore Estate; Asheville, NC

Anneliese and Arie were married at the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina. We provided the florals and decor, so we packed up our crew and hit the road!
Anneliese was drawn to the Biltmore because she wanted her wedding to be at a grand estate. The majority of the guests would be coming from Chicago or New York, so it would ultimately be a destination wedding. Why not have it on the grounds of a breathtaking historical home?
Anneliese and Arie chose the English Walled Garden for their ceremony, where they surrounded by 50,000 tulip bulbs and 80 varieties of roses. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to a cocktail hour that was nothing short of elaborate. It was held under a Wisteria-covered arbor on the Library Terrace. The reception was a quick walk away to the Italian Garden. A tent covered the lawn, and a beautiful white dance floor featured Anneliese and Arie's monogram. The festivities didn't end with the traditional bride and groom sendoff. Guests were asked to join them and enjoy more of the estate at a brunch the following morning. |

Halle and Stephen - The Dixon Gallery and Gardens; Memphis, TN

Halle and Stephen came to us wanting a traditional wedding with a fun reception. This was the first wedding that we did with mini-hamburgers and fried dill pickles. Instead of a mashed potato bar, Halle and Stephen decided to have a station where guests could top french fries with whatever they wanted.
Stephen is an NFL player and has played sports for his entire life. As a gift to him, Halle created a groom's cake to reflect his athletic career. The bottom tier featured sports he played in high school. The second tier showcased his involvement in the University of Memphis athletic teams. The top tier displayed his current NFL career.
After a traditional church ceremony, the happy bride and groom danced the night away with their guests to the sounds of the Soul Shockers! |

| Tressa and Bill - Anna's Veranda; Seaside, FL |

Tressa came to us right after she got the ring. After an initial look at some Memphis wedding venues, Tressa's heart kept calling her to the ocean. She and Bill both had special ties to Seaside, Florida.
Their wedding came together quickly - a beautiful historic home called "Anna's Veranda" was rented for the week of the wedding. It was dubbed "Wedding Headquarters" and it was also the location of the wedding reception. It was perfect because the guests walked right across the street to the beach where the intimate ceremony was held.
Eighty of Bill and Tressa's closest friends and family traveled to the beach to celebrate the exchanging of their vows. They wanted to incorporate Tressa's daughter into the ceremony, so Bill presented her with a beautiful necklace and read a different set of vows to his new step-daughter.
After some amazing food, everyone stayed on the dance floor until the very last song!

| Adeirdre and Malcom - Pink Palace Museum; Memphis, TN |

Adeirdre and Malcom were married at the Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church. Their wedding was truly about the joining of two souls. The bridesmaids wore gold full length gowns with ruffled crumb catchers. The groomsmen sported matching vests and ties in a muted sage green. Adeirdre loved color, so her bouquet was a contemporary design featuring pinks, oranges, yellows, and red.
The reception was held at the Pink Palace Museum. A sweetheart table adorned with a white bird cage was placed in the center of the space. Guest tables were decorated with fall-inspired elements: lanterns, votives, copper urns, and bright autumn-colored flowers. The cake was a show stopper! Not a single piece was left of the mango, lemon-lime, and rum flavored deliciousness.
This wedding was featured in the Fall edition of Premier Bride.

Samantha and Charles - Rose Garden (Memphis Botanic Gardens); Memphis, TN

Samantha and her mom were looking through books and pointed to something. I described it to be trendy and modern with a simple, classical style. Samantha said "That is exactly how I want my wedding to be."
We soon found inspiration in a picture of hot pink peonies and green apples. Those elements were brought into the Rose Garden at the Memphis Botanic Gardens to create a trendy, modern twist on a classic wedding design. The 400 guests were greeted to the garden ceremony by six harpists playing in unison. After the ceremony, guests sipped on Green Apple Martinis and Pink Sangria. To reflect the couple's soon-to-be destination of Spain, Spanish style hors d'oeuvres were passed during the cocktail hour, complete with Spanish harp music.
A twelve piece band entertained the guests in Hardin Hall. The room was decorated to the nines in pink and green. The height of the reception came with a visit by Elvis, the King himself! His "bodyguards" turned out to be the bride and groom's fathers! |

| Nicole and Will - Dixon Gallery and Gardens; Memphis, TN |

Nicole and Will had a beautiful wedding and reception that really captured the story of their relationship. They met after a friend's wedding in Memphis at the Windjammer Restaurant. Will lived in Atlanta at the time, and after the relationship progressed, Nicole moved there with him.
Food was uber important to them. Nicole's mom was an instructor at Viking Cooking School, and Nicole and Will were certified foodies. Finding a caterer that fit the bill was no small task! CFY did an amazing job. From the Duck Fat Fried Pommes Frites with Aioli, to the Voodoo Shrimp - they had it covered!
To commemorate their first meeting, a signature cocktail named "The Windjammer" tempted the guests' taste buds. It was a mixture of Mandarin Vodka and Tonic Water garnished with an orange slice. An open-aired tent allowed guests to mingle under the stars. |

Brooke and Manny - The Shack Up Inn; Clarksdale; MS

Brooke was an eclectic bride that wanted her guests to have a great "down home" time with a twist. Her and her fiance, Manny, were married at the Shack Up Inn in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
An excellent photographer was brought in from Texas to capture the vintage 1940s feel of the wedding. Each guest embraced Brooke's eclectic style by fashioning pieces of clothing inspired by that era. What Delta wedding isn't complete without a gospel choir?! They provided the only music needed to seal the nuptials.
The reception is where the fun continued! "Harmonica" Bean and his band greeted the guests with their famous blues sound. A DJ took over after the band finished, and the first dance began after Brooke changed her dress. We have the say that the windows of The Hopson were thoroughly steamed when they were done! Brooke and Manny loved the Merengue, Mambo, Salsa, and Bachata dance style. Guests dined on traditional southern fare and had an amazing time! |

Teresa and Karim - Opera Memphis; Memphis, TN

When Teresa came to us, she didn't want the typical wedding colors. No pink and green or orange and brown for this bride! For her bridesmaids dresses, she chose gunmetal gray.
Her ceremony was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and her reception was at Opera Memphis. She was all about the sparkle! We hung beaded crystals from the ceiling, and her centerpieces included our crystal trees. Blue and purple lighting made the space the ultimate celebration room! She used our lounge furniture to create a casual, comfortable section for the attendees.
Her food was phenomenal, and the guests worked up an appetite while they were dancing and having a wonderful time!
